Tolulope Dayo-Peters holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Estate Management (2000) and a Master of Business Administration (2005), both from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. She also earned a Master’s degree with Commendation in Strategy and Human Resource Management from the University of Bedfordshire, United Kingdom, in 2009.
She began her career in Human Resources in 2001 with the former Standard Trust Bank (now UBA Plc), and in 2002 joined Bond Bank Limited. Following a series of mergers and transitions, the institution became Skye Bank Plc and later Polaris Bank Limited, where she built broad experience across Human Resources, Domestic Operations, and Branch Operations.
At Polaris Bank, she served as Acting Head, Human Capital Management. She subsequently joined SunTrust Bank Nigeria as Head, Human Resources.
Tolulope is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD), UK; an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (ACIPM), Nigeria; an Honorary Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (HCIBN); and a member of the Chartered Institute of Directors (CIoD), Nigeria.
With over 24 years of experience in the banking industry, she is a results-driven HR professional with deep expertise in business partnering, employee engagement, and culture transformation. She is recognized for her strong analytical and conceptual capabilities, as well as her proven ability to lead and implement innovative organizational change.
She has served on several strategic committees and played key roles in major transformation initiatives across institutions. Her extensive experience across all areas of Human Resources positions her to effectively lead the Bank’s People Management function and drive its human capital strategy.
